typography / print & layout design

In our typography class we were given a piece of writing by Gui Bonsiepe. We had to find a piece of writing from another author that we thought would match well with his writing and create a book marrying both pieces. We had to design layout and the cover of the book. When designing the cover we were only allowed to use type and type elements. I wanted to create a more illustrative cover that was intricate and framed the title. Every aspect of the cover is made from a typography element.
